Don't Rush Me

 

On Thursday, April 23, 2026, President Trump declined to provide a timeline for concluding the military conflict with Iran, telling reporters at the White House, "Don't rush me". Addressing questions about the duration of the war, which has exceeded initial estimates, Trump stated he was under "no pressure" to finish and argued he has only been engaged for six weeks.

Anyone who has endured a corporate “mission‑statement rollout” knows the dread of that moment: the sudden realization that the organization has forgotten what it’s for and is now trying to remember by committee.
